Electritex has full in-house welding and machining capabilities in both NC and SC locations.
Welding capabilities include mig and tig processes to repair and fabricate various types of metals including, but not limited to, steel, cast iron, stainless, aluminum, brass and copper. Electritex uses the Hobart Tigwave 250 and Millermatic 300 welding machines.
Machining capabilities include sleeving endbells, making and repairing shafts, plating and dynamic balancing. Electritex uses Acra Mill Milling Machines, South Bend and Jet lathes, and a Dyna-Bal balancer.
